Friday fun!

Today I showed a pupil around the school who will be joining us in September. It was an absolute pleasure to walk around and see so much happening in our school. I know that the end of term can be a tiring time, with all the performances and late nights, but every class was doing something amazing with giant smiles on their faces!
Cherry class are welcoming everyone in Latin, whilst being dressed in togas....and were even spotted eating pizza! Wonderful effort to the end of a great topic from the children and Cherry class team!
Willow class were having fun with Miss Brown on her last day here at Walderslade, and I'm always shocked to see how much energy they have on a Friday!
Maple class have been doing their dress rehearsal in the hall this morning, and were beaming with delight at the thought of their parents/ carers coming this afternoon to watch!
Rainbow were still buzzing with excitement because they had performed their first ever play to parents. Birch are filming all over the school, as they develop a school virtual tour that they want to develop and put on YouTube! Oak class are talking non-stop about the Prom tonight, and I even heard talk of a limo. Lime class are still wearing their tie-dye from last week...although there is beginning to become a slight smell around - I'm sure its not connected in any way!
I explained to the new child and his parents, that this is just another normal day here at Walderslade! Learning can be fun!
