Wouldn't Change a Thing
This Christmas we are lucky enough to have one of the stars of the 'Wouldn't Change A thing' music videos. To tell you a little bit more about the organisation and George's involvement please read what his mum had to say about the experience:
"We are part of an organisation called ‘Wouldn’t Change A Thing’ which was set up this year and promotes raising awareness for families with children who have Down syndrome. It has become huge since the founders were on ‘This Morning’ earlier this year after a carpool video they produced, celebrities have even been promoting WCAT by holding the logo. ITV got in touch with WCAT 3 weeks ago and asked for 25 families to use makaton to sign to Michael Bubles’ “All I Want For Christmas”. We were one of the lucky families to be chosen and George loved learning his signs for the lines he had. These were sent to ITV where they produced a video which was aired for the first time yesterday on ‘This Morning’ with the added surprise of Michael Buble himself introducing it.
Raising awareness for families who are blessed with children who have Down syndrome is so important to myself and everyone involved in the charity and this video certainly does that. I can hand on heart say “I wouldn’t change a thing” about my George and that is what this group is all about."
