"We work together, we play together and take care of each other"

Walderslade Primary School has a strong belief that education includes a wide range of different aspects.  It is about achieving academically, creatively and emerging as confident, responsible people.

We aim to help children fulfil their potential, so whilst providing a working environment in which children achieve good results in 11+ and SATS, we also offer participation in various musical and sporting activities within school and in the wider community.

We aim to foster good working relationships with parents as we feel teamwork between staff and parents is essential in helping children to gain the most from their education.

The school has a caring ethos where we aim to support, raise self-esteem and ensure behaviour towards adults and peers is appropriate so that all can develop their skills and abilities. Above all we want children to achieve, be happy and to make a contribution to the community in which they live.
