Wraparound Care
Walderslade Primary has both a breakfast club and after school club. Both clubs do not require children to pre-book, which allows for more flexibility for families. Please see below for further information about our clubs.
Breakfast club
Breakfast club runs Monday - Friday from 7.45am. Children are taken straight to class from the club. Children from reception to year 6 play together and there are a range of activities for them to enjoy.
Each day a selection of hot and cold food is available. Typical options include:
- Cereal/ cereal bars
- Toast/ bagel/ crumpet
- Yoghurt
- Fruit salad
- Water/ milk/ Milk shakes
Breakfast club is £4.50 per day and doesn't have to be booked in advance*.
*Children with specific dietary requirements may need to let us know in advance if specific food needs to be available.
Tea Timers
Tea Timers runs after school until 5.45pm. All staff running the club work within the school during the day, and so are familiar to the children. The children have a variety of food options which change throughout the year.
Tea timers runs from our school hall and as with breakfast club, the children have a range of opportunities to do within their time at the club.
Arrangements can be made so that children can also attend a school club and then go to Tea Timers after. This way they do not have to miss out on the after-school clubs being run by the school!
Tea timers is £9 per day and doesn't have to be booked in advance*.
