Mrs Whitehead (Teacher - Wed, Thur, Fri)
A bit about me: I completed my teacher training at Canterbury Christ Church University and have been teaching for the past 17 years. I have taught across Key Stage One and Two in a variety of sized schools in the local area. I am really pleased to be joining Walderslade Primary School in 2022 and I'm looking forward to getting to know the staff, pupils and families. My family is made up of my husband and two sons called Paddy and Ronnie.
Favourite Foods: I have a terrible sweet tooth therefore chocolate would have to be my all time favourite food but I also love Pizza.
Hobbies: I enjoy looking after my garden and have attempted growing plants and vegetables from seed this year - it's a working progress! I also like arts and crafts and baking when I can find the time. When I am on holiday, I like to get stuck into a good book and love watching Call the Midwife and Gavin and Stacey on repeat!
Mrs Risbridger (Teacher - Mon, Tue, Wed)
A bit about me: I completed my degree in Primary Education at Canterbury Christ Church University and have been teaching for the past 15 years. I have worked in two Medway primary schools across key stage 1 and 2. I enjoy teaching at Walderslade because it is such a friendly and welcoming school. I love spending time with my family and friends. I have a husband and two children called Harry and Isla.
Favourite Foods: My favourite dinner is roast dinner or toad in the hole.
Miss Donner (Teaching Assistant - Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri)
A bit about me: I started out at Walderslade as a midday meals supervisor which I really enjoyed, especially supporting the children. This led me to decide to complete my teaching assistant qualification. Outside of school, I'm a mum to 4 wonderful children they keep me rather busy!
Favourite food: it would probably be a full roast dinner with all the trimmings or some lovely fish and chips by the coast.
Hobbies: I love spending time with my family and friends. We all enjoy going camping when we can.
Mrs Bernard (Teaching Assistant - Mon, Tue, Wed)
A bit about me: I began my time at Walderslde Primary as a parent helper in 2010. As I enjoyed the experience and school so much, I went on to complete my teaching assistant courses. My first position was in Sunbeams (our nursery) then moving into Rainbow class. Working in the foundation unit is fun and interesting, you see such a huge change in the children as they develop through the year. I love the way they say exactly what they think!
Favourite food: I love eating steak, especially if someone else is cooking it! However, chocolate is my favourite...and of course cookies!
Hobbies: I enjoy eating out with family and friends, and also attending yoga classes. I enjoy baking when I get the chance, and shopping is great fun with my daughter!
